Gangnam

After our stop at the 2D Cafe, we headed over to Gangnam because I needed to check out my Korean school. I’ll be attending it next week, so I wanted to figure out how to get there beforehand. Finding the school was a breeze, and afterwards, we treated ourselves to a nice lunch nearby. I have a feeling I’ll be visiting that place quite a bit next week.

Po wizycie w 2D Cafe udaliśmy się do Gangnam, ponieważ musiałam sprawdzić swoją koreańską szkołę. Będę do niej uczęszczać przez kolejny tydzień, więc chciałam dowiedzieć się, jak tam dotrzeć. Znalezienie szkoły było proste, a potem zafundowaliśmy sobie miły lunch w jej pobliżu. Mam przeczucie, że będę odwiedzać to miejsce dość często w przyszłym tygodniu.

Great company and great food

After our visit to the palace, Huynu treats us to a lovely lunch where we can savour delicious food, enjoy great conversations, and unwind before we continue our adventure.

Po wizycie w pałacu Huynu zabiera nas na lunch, podczas którego możemy delektować się pysznym jedzeniem, spokojnie pogadać i odpocząć przed dalszą częścią naszej przygody.

Cafe des Amis

Dinner tonight it is one of the best restaurants of Pattaya, Café des Amis. They serve French and European cuisine, which is a nice change as we had mostly Thai food recently. The lights in the restaurant are quite deem but there are UFO shaped lights for everyone (to read menu in comfort). So obviously we have fun taking pictures whilst playing with lights.  Our starters, damplings and beef are delicious, and the desert is served aflame.

Dzisiejszy obiad jemy w jednej z najlepszych restauracji w Pattaya, Café des Amis. Podają tu dania kuchni francuskiej i europejskiej, co jest dla nas miłą odmianą, ponieważ ostatnio jedliśmy głównie tajskie jedzenie. Światła w restauracji są mocno przygaszone, ale na każdym stoliku są lampki w kształcie UFO (aby wygodnie czytać menu). Oczywiście, że mamy zabawę używając ich do robienia zdjęć. Nasze przystawki, pierogi i stek są pyszne, a deser podany jest w płomieniach.

Pappilon again

Tonight, we are eating at the Papillon again.

Dziś znowu jemy w Papillon.

Marcin spotted a seafood platter on the menu and so here we are again. The platter contains a selection of rock lobster, sea bass, prawns, green mussels and scallops, plus some vegetables and rice.

Marcin zauważył w menu półmisek owoców morza i tak oto znowu tu jesteśmy. Na półmisku znajdujemy homara, okonia morskiego, krewetki, zielone małże i przegrzebki, a także trochę warzyw i ryżu.

The main is followed by dark chocolate lava cake and cheesecake. The food is simply marvellous again.

Obiad kończymy sernikiem i ciastem „lawa” z ciemnej czekolady. Jedzenie w Papillonie znów jest po prostu cudowne.

Life in paradise

The rest of the day we spend lazily in our swimming pool. Even after sunset, the water is still blissfully warm. Midnight would probably find us here if not the need to go for dinner…

Resztę dnia spędzamy relaksując się w naszym basenie. Nawet po zachodzie słońca woda jest nadal błogo ciepła. Północ pewnie by nas tu zastała, gdyby nie konieczność pójścia na obiad…

Hard work before one can relax.

Ile się to człowiek musi napracować, żeby się mógł zrelaksować.
